The early bird catches the worm. With all the great diaper coupons out there and other deals at Walgreens, I knew I would have to make an early trip this morning to make sure I got everything that I needed to make my deal work.
And it sure did! Here’s what I got:

I used a $10 RR I had from doing the Dove deal last week. I then used my Walgreens gift card to pay the left over $8.27.
That means I spent $0.00 out of pocket and got $11 in RR.
Please note the Subtotal on the receipt – my total before tax was $1.30. That’s a 92% savings.
As i can see you used the 5 off for the Natural fit eventhough it said gentle care…did it not beep? Curious.

It did not beep. It worked fine. I took the $3 off coupons with me just in case.
Those savings are impressive! Especially the diaper deal. I would love to get some of the glade products, but for some reason the website keeps giving me an error message when I try to print them.

I'm sorry the coupons aren't working for you. I just checked the link and it worked for me. Even if you can't print the B1G1 you can still get them FREE. If you buy one of each and use the $4 coupons from the 2/08 SS insert and the $4 coupons from the Walgreens Easy Saver Book. (you just won't get the $4 overage).
My receipt from this morning looks very similar to yours minus a couple of your items with some other items. Anyway, my RR for the diapers didn't print nor did I get RR for the Crest Pro Health toothpaste in which I used a dollar coupon on. I'm not sure what was up. I did ask the manager about the Huggies RR and he said because the coupons were of high value ($5). I paid with my $10 RR from the Dove deal last week as well. I didn't end up getting the RR like I had hoped, but only managed to spend 10.58 OOP

The MQ shouldn't have anything to do with the Catalina coupon printing out. Call 1-888-8- Coupon for the Catalina Company. I have never had to call them, but if you have you receipt handy and explain to them what happened, I think they can make it right. It's probably worth the try for $10.
Wow, great job! You're lucky that you don't have issues with couponing at Wags. Here in Nashville, it's hit-or-miss with the Wags stores. The one closest to me gives me grief about which coupons they'll take…it's so frustrating! Anyway, just wanted to applaud your trip! : )

I'm new to Walgreens (don't have one nearby). Thinking of going there. What is the deal with coupons. I thought I had read somewhere that you could only use one coupon per item. Can you use a Walgreen's ad or Easy Saver with a manufacturers coupon? Can you use a coupon per item and still use RR to pay?

You can use a Walgreens coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item. (it is called stacking) You do have to have the same number (or more) of items as coupons. That can sometimes make deals a little tricky. The good thing is that a Walgreen's coupons will work for multiple items. For example my paper towels this morning. I bought 4 paper towels but only used one in ad coupon, it discounted all four. Thing like that can help balance you coupon to item ratio. :0) RR do count as a coupon so keep that in mind when planning the trip. You can also usually find inexpensive candy or clearance items as “fillers” to make the deal work. Hope this helps.

Question on the $ 5.00 coupon you used – my $ 5.00 coupon is for the Gentle Care products and you purchased Natural Fit? Were your coupons different? Where did you get these from?
That's pretty impressive. What fun to save so much money for our families! I don't have a Walgreens nearby. Looks like I'm missing out on all the fun.

I have done the diaper deal twice and both times the Gentle care coupons scanned for the Natural Fit. I asked if this was o.k. and the cashier told me as long as the coupons scan Walgreens get reimbursed. So I had no issues using them.
I also had a problem at one the Walgreens I went to. Tried to buy just 3 packs of diapers, had my printables and the Coloring Book Coupon. Manager said it was because after coupons it was less than $25. I disagreed because it DID work for me at another location a few hours earlier. Was NOT happy about this, but grabbed a few more items to bump it back up to $25 and then it worked. Grrrr.
I noticed that your walgreens coupons are at the end of the receipt….Does it seem to go thru better that way. I have been reading about all the problems people are having with coupons at walgreens. Like using a store coupon that says on it that it is a manufacturere coupon and then using a clipped manugacturer coupon.
Im sooooo excited that this actually worked. I got 3 pack of diaper, 2 pack of wipes and 3 paper towel for $23.92. The $5 coupon worked on any diaper(gentle care or natural fit). my first time using internet coupons and was i nervous but it all worked out. thanks to you for helping me plan my trip and the order i gave my coupons.

They do seem to work better that way. I usually give my RR first, then internet coupons I have printed, then MQ I have clipped and then the Walgreens ad or Easy Saver coupons. Some cashiers sort through them and then scan them however they want. So it will just depend trip to trip. So far I have had no problems this week!

If I try to use my register rewards on a deal that I'm going to get register rewards their computer beeps and they tell me that I can't use register rewards when I'm getting them. Or I will not get the RR. The last time I went there I was in there for 20 mins. at the register. I ended up using $20RR on the diaper deal and once again they said I can't have my RR since I used my RR. I left very bummed. I still have shopping I want to do there this week because I have more $5 off coupons for huggies, but I'm afraid to try it again. HELP!!!!!

Don't get discouraged, you will get the hang of this soon. That is true, you cannot use RR you received to do the same deal again. So, the $10 you got for diapers needs to be used on other products. It is great to use them on products that will also give you RR. You can then use those RR to do the diaper deal again. I hope this helps.
