At the Chapman Hwy Walgreens, I am never able to use a rr on something that gives one-even if it is an unrelated deal! Wonder why? They always say you won't get your rr if you pay with one. And I've tried it more than once and it was the case. And then it's a pain to try to return things when you have used rr and coupons. Any info on this would be appreciated. I am always in awe when I read of people rolling them like ecbs, but it doesn't happen for me at my store.

  2. That is strange. You should be able to use the RR from one deal to do another. It is true that if I used the $5 RR from the Kelloggs deal to do it again a second RR would not have printed. But, it should work (just like above) if you are doing different deals. I would maybe try a new Walgreens, using RR to get more RR is the best way to save there.

The Walgreens Back-2-School coupon book has been located in Maryville/Alcoa! Check with your store again! I posted the details HERE. 🙂

I have had the same thing happen at my WAGS. When I said something about my RR not printing, the manager told me that you cannot pay with a RR and get a RR. I had done this in another transaction the same day in the same store. I was really confused. In Knoxville WAGS I have never had a problem with my RR not printing. I have just adopted the policy to really watch my transactions and do any returning or clarification of “rules” right then. Honestly WAGS has proven to be such a pain over such that I don't shop there unless it is something that I cannot pass up. My RR sometimes expire before I can use them because when there is a great sale one week, there is often not a good sale the following week.
