  1. I had a HORRIBLE trip to my CVS this week. The manager there hates me for some reason. The main lady the checks me out is a couponer herself. He sent her away and made sure he would be the one to check me out. here was my scenario:

    trans 1:
    schick ST3 disposables
    3 aussie
(I think some other filler items)
    glade candles
    -3 off schick DISPOSABLES
    -4/20
    -free candles

    trans 2
    BOGO schick razors
3 aussie (using my MIL's card shhh)
    -4/20
    -4 off schick
    -2 off schick

He refused ALL of my coupons for the last trans. Why? because they all said “one per customer”. even though all the schick coupons were different. We are no longer going to the one here. I returned everything I did not get for free today.

Also, my last trip, both store managers laughed out loud as I walked out the door. Now that I think about it, they were not laughing WITH me.

what would you do about this?

  2. Jenny,
Wow sorry to hear about such a bad trip. I think if you feel the managers were being unprofessional or rude or wrong about the coupons (which I think they are) then you should contact CVS and let them know about your experience. I am not sure what they will do but I think the “if you were an employer would you want to know if your employees treated customers this way” rule is a good one. So, I think I would avoid that store and let their corporate folks know.
    Anyone else have any ideas?

  3. I agree with Katie that the customer service dept would want to be aware of this type of behavior. Personally, I have always had good service from cvs but I shop at the one on Middlebrook at Cedar Bluff. All stores and employees have a bad day every now and again, but this sounds like it might be something else. I would see what type of response you get from customer service. On the flip side, I also try to call corporate offices when I get good customer service so that friendly employees can be recognized for a good job.

  4. Jenny P- Thanks for the comment. You made two good points, I too have always gotten great service at CVS and it is always a good idea to report good customer service. Thanks for pointing out some positives. ][
