Target: Turkey, Trimmings & 18 Quart Roaster Oven for $28

targetroaster

*Update- I used Sunday’s newspaper to protect the floor today during a craft and noticed a small ad that said the roaster and gift card deal is only available at Super Target stores and they are sorry for any inconvenience. So if you have not been able to get this deal and would like to you could always try a Super Target. ***

Thanks Jill for emailing me about this deal!

If you are hosting Thanksgiving this year or if you are responsible for the turkey this is a deal you should definitely look into. Holly over at Saving for Eight has worked out a deal where you can get a 18-quart Turkey Roaster, a 10-pound Butterball Turkey, 4 Ore-Ida Steam n’ Mash Potatoes, and 5 Heinz Gravies for only $28.00 this week at Target. That is fabulous considering the roaster itself is on sale for $27.00 this week!

We will be visiting family for Thanksgiving but I am tempted to try this deal and save it for one of the family Christmas dinners we are hosting.

  1. Went to two Targets yesterday and they were both out of the Roasters that are on sale. Got very little help from the Service Desk as to when they may have any more in.

  2. Did you go to the Super Target? I just saw a small ad in the newspaper today that said this deals was only available at Super Targets.

  3. Yep, I drove all the way out to Turkey Creek Super Target in Farrugut. (I live in Maryville) We spoke to an employee who checked the back for any and we spoke to the Service Desk to see when more may be in. The Service Desk said they get a daily truck and we could call each day to see if any came in. My husband called the service desk at that location Wednesday morning and they said that they did not receive any on the Tuesday truck and did not expect another truck until Friday night. When questioned about the daily truck she told my husband that they do not get a truck every night and they do not know what will be on the truck until it gets there.

And just because the Roaster Oven at 27.00 is still a great deal without the gift card and turkey (normally they are 49.99) I drove to the Maryville Target and they were out of the Roaster Ovens, also.

But have no fear; I still used all my other coupons at Kroger where Stove Top Stuffing and Heinz Gravy was on sale for 1.00 each and Butterball turkeys were .99 cents a pound. I doubled up on Cellfire Coupons and manufactured coupons and saved over 2.00 on my crecent rolls and with all my coupons together last night I saved over 44.00 total! I'll just have to cook my turkey the old fashioned way; in the oven!

BTW: Thanks for your site, I absolutely love it! I have gotten everybody at work hooked on it too!
