Don’t Throw Away Your Sunday Paper Until You Grab the Extra Coupons!

Be sure to double check your Sunday newspaper before you recycle or throw it away.

We were expecting two (2) RedPlum  inserts and one (1) SmartSource insert but there was also a General Mills Every Day Saver insert.

That insert has a couple of $.50/1 Pillsbury coupons that will make for a great deals with a sale and a $1/2 General Mills cereal that will help you get $1 boxes of Cheerios at Kroger this week.

There is a Kroger Simple Healthy Living insert (not the ad insert) that has a few good coupons including a $1/1 Starbucks via coupon, a $.50/1 Crisco coupon and a $25 when you transfer a prescription coupon.

While you are at it grab the Parade Magazine. On page 3 you will find a $1.50/1 TheraFlu coupon and a $3/2 any TheraFlu product coupon.

  1. I was very disappointed- I don’t live in place here in Knoxville where I can get a paper subscription delivered so I always stop at Pilot to get one before church on Sunday. Usually all of the coupons are in the paper (and I never take the top one) but in the one I picked up today- only one SmartSource packet. 🙁

  2. That has happened to us a few times. Now THE HUSBAND always checks before he buys the paper. I don’t know if going back and telling them/asking to trade will help.

  3. Missy June says:

Sunday is a crazy day for me and I often don’t make it to pick up the newspaper. Is there a way to get the paper (or just the coupons) later?

  4. You could always call the paper and ask. I know they have extras- when ours got soaked in the rain I called and they delivered the Sunday paper on Tuesday! You could also hit the recycle bins, THE HUSBAND always has great luck when I send him. :0)
