Today we found several ways to use our Rice Krisipes.
1. We used them in math by gathering piles of 1o’s. This helped my pre-schooler with place value and counting by 10′s. My kindergartener worked with 100′s. Then we ate our math.
2. We used them in science. We used a balloon and a plate of Rice Krispies to talk about static electricity. Just rub the balloon on a piece of wool, or your brother’s head, and then place the balloon over a plate of Rice Krispies. The static electricity in the balloon will attract the cereal. Then we ate our science.
3. We used them to make crafts. We did not eat our crafts.
We also plan to make these fun Easter Treats with our bargain Rice Krispies.
