Knoxville Zoo ZooCamp 2013: Great for Preschoolers & Kindergarteners!

Knoxville_Zoo_CampIf you are looking for some fun activities for your kids this summer be sure to check out ZooCamp at The Knoxville Zoo. ZooCamp is a one-of-a-kind way for kids to experience the zoo. Programs are tailored to age groups and will keep your kids engaged and entertained while teaching them about some of their favorite animals! I love that these are available even for my younger kiddos! There is still time to register.  Here are the dates for the Preschool and Kindergarten camps:

Preschool:

Zookids who will be 3 or 4 BEFORE camp begins. Parent attends with child. Snack and drink provided for child. The fun activities are designed for children 3 and 4 with significant parental involvement.

Session I
June 10 –14  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Session II
June 17 – 21  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Session III
June 24–28  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Session IV 
July 22 – 26  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Are You My Mother?

Is your mother an alligator or maybe a lion? Whether she hops or flies or walks or swims,mothers are very important!

Kindergarten:

Zookids who are 5 BEFORE camp begins. Parent does not attend with child. Snack and drink provided.

Session I
June 3 -7  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Session II
June 10 – 14  9:00 a.m. -Noon

Session III
July 15 -19  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Session IV
July 29 – August 2  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Are You My Mother?
Does a snake have a mother? What does a baboon’s dad look like? Animal families are amazing!

Registration is required to attend these great programs. To register, just call 637-5331 then press 7 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m..
