OK, if you like saving and online shopping (who doesn’t) get ready for Wednesday July 15th! It appears Amazon.com and Walmart.com are about to compete for you online dollar. I am super interested to see what deals come up. Who knows, we could all save A LOT and have the bulk of our holiday shopping done in July! Here are the details:
On Wednesday, July 15th, Amazon will be hosting Amazon Prime Day and is promising to offer up more deals than Black Friday – including deals on electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more. Prime Day Deals will start rolling in on Wednesday, July 15 at 12 a.m., and new deals will begin as often as every 10 minutes. The Prime Day deals will include seven “Deals of the Day” as well as thousands of “Lightning Deals,” and purchases will come with unlimited free and fast shipping.
Not a Prime member? Sign up for an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial and get access to all the hot deals on July 15th. And if you’re a student you can get join Amazon Student and get six months of free with your .edu email address.
The lower prices on items in categories including electronics, home, baby and toys will last 90 days, the typical time period for rollbacks, which Walmart usually has hundreds of at any given time throughout the year. Starting Monday, Walmart is also reducing the minimum order for free shipping from $50 to $35 for at least 30 days.
