My Weekly Kroger Deals (4/25-5/1)

I went to Kroger last night to stock up on a few things so that I do not have to go shopping for the next couple of weeks.

I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who were there before me and left behind some great coupons on the shelves. I LOVE that! It is a great thing to do near the end of the month. If you have a great coupon and are not going to use it leave it on the shelf near the product it is for. I found three great coupons this way and I left several of my own behind.

They were out of $1 Scotch Brite sponges, $1 Tabasco sauce (free with $.50/1 coupon in recent insert), Life cereal (which THE HUSBAND loves) and $1 packages of Nutter Butters (which I love).

I did stock up on produce, cleaning supplies, NutriGrain bars, hot chocolate, coffee creamer and a few other things we use regularly. (Like I said, after tomorrow I am not planning to go to the store for a couple of weeks. )

In the end I spent $79.37 and saved $61.48 or 43%. Not my best trip but sometimes you just have to buy what you need!

  1. What's so special about tomorrow? 😉

  2. How do you get Kroger Home mailer?

  3. I registered online and started getting them but I have also seen a big sign in the that said to 1-800-Krogers or stop by the customer service desk if you would like home mailer.
If you shop at Kroger and are not getting them I would highly recommend calling. They often send out $ off purchase coupons and free item coupons.

  4. When I originally signed up for a Kroger card, I opted out of getting anything by mail or email for that matter. When I realized what I was missing, I email customer service and they fixed it. I should start getting the mailer the next quarter.

love your website and have saved tons over the past 2 wks since I stumbled upon it! Yay! Our Kroger won't let me double up on coupons with a Kroger coupon and one from a newspaper or printed. I was told it was by choice of this particular Kroger for some reason. grrr! However, I found that I can double up with the digital coupons preloaded onto my card. 🙂 I had the same problem with the scotch brite sponges being out both times I went to the store along with the YoPlait greek yogurt that has been on sale for $1 (only $.70 w/ the coupon).
Thanks again. I signed up for the Kroger mailer, too, but only get it occasionally.

Hi Katie! I wanted to let you know that the East Knoxville/Asheville Hwy Kroger has plenty of the Tabasco sauce! I think I've gotten 7 this week!

  7. Thanks for your answer and congratulations on the new baby…..
