My Kroger Trip 9/1/10

The good thing about going to Kroger at 10pm is the kids are all sleeping and there was no line at the checkout. The bad thing, some things are out of stock. It is not a super exciting week at Kroger. I spent $77.92 and saved $70.79 or 48%. I am still  not quite sure how I spent so much but, I managed to grab a few good deals too:

Buy 6 boxes Ronzoni Pasta

$1/2 Ronzoni pasta coupon
$1/2 Ronzoni Healthy Harvest pasta coupon

Out of Pocket=$3 ($.50/box)
Submit for It Pays to Eat Pasta Rebate and get $3 back

I also bought some lunch meat, a ton of produce, Starbucks coffee for THE HUSBAND, a bag of almonds, eggs and that was about it!

What great grocery deals did you get this week? Also, I am considering branching out as far as grocery stores. Any suggestions on store match ups you would like to see?

  1. I went today and got “think thin” bars for free-they were $1.25 and there is a .50 e coupon and I had a .50 paper that doubled. And I noticed the fiber one frozen muffins clearanced-and I had a paper and e coupon for those-so I think I paid $1. Look at the frozen foods for close-outs (white tags) because they do that this time of year. Also, the cranberry raisinettes have a paper and e coupon making them about $1 after. And smart balance sour cream was on manager’s special for .99 and I had a .50 m/c making those free after it doubles. I had two. Then I noticed an older gentleman with a lot of manager’s specials in his cart. And he was fishing through his coupons. So I gave him one of the sour creams and coupons (fun!)
