On 10/26/10 I went to my local Office Depot where I had success in buying 9 packages of water and using my $10 off coupon and same with the paper deal. I was thrilled and wanted to help a friend out who was on a fixed income. My store was out of paper but there was another Office Depot about 10 miles away and I called and they said they had “PLENTY” of paper. So today, 10/27/2010 I traveled there and loaded up 9 packages and water and was so proud to show my friend what a great deal I found for her and I was told at the register that the limit was 6 per customer and that the $10 coupon could NOT be used with the promo offer. When I told them that I had already done this for myself at the other store they told me that it had all been mistake that had now been corrected and that I should have never been able to get that deal with the coupon. WHAT???? I walked out with no water and I felt like a shmuck. I embarrassed myself and my friend. Has anyone else experienced this??? I wasted gas and time going out of my way and the manager would not budge. Hope no one else has to go through this. This happened in Columbia, SC so buyers beware!!!!
