Reminder:Free Admission to Tennesee Attractions January 15th

Get out your calendars and plan some family fun.

To celebrate the inauguration of Bill Haslam as Governor, many Tennesee attractions (local and statewide) will be offering free admission.

All offers are valid to Tennessee residents Saturday, January 15, 2011 unless otherwise noted.

A few you might be interested in:

American Museum of Science and Energy

Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge

Blount Mansion National Historic Landmark

Crescent Bend House & Gardens, The Armstrong – Lockette House

The Museum of East Tennessee History

Marble Springs Historic Site

Knoxville Museum of Art

Ramsey House Plantation

There are a few more locally that you may want to check out and if you are going to Nashville you should consider two of my favorites:

Adventure Science Center-offering half off admission. This is a great children’s museum. The boys love it.

Frist Center for the Visual Arts-this place is fantastic. THE HUSBAND and I visited over the summer and loved it. The building is great old architecture, the exhibits were outstanding and the children’s area was amazing.

You can check out all the free attraction details here.
