*Coupon Update* I have gotten a few comments asking if Kroger has stopped doubling printable coupons. Not to my knowledge and mine doubled today. However, unlike in the past a coupon will only double up to the price of the product, there is no overage.

For example the Suave Deodorant was $.88, my reciept shows the $.50 manufacturer coupon then the “bonus coupon” of $.38.  Similarly, the $.50/1 Luna bar coupons only “doubled ” to $.49.

My guess is this happened when they updated their computer systems with the e-coupon change.

I will also say my cashier was very careful and checked each one when scanning my coupons. (Which I think is a good thing)

Have you had any problems/ noticed any changes?

Thanks to Jenny over at Southern Savers you can see the entire Kroger coupon match up.

  1. Don’t forget the cereal gift card deal. When you buy 4 boxes of General Mills cereal (and some bars) you get a $5 gift card for your next purchase.

  2. I know but my ad said it does not start until 4/18. Does anyone else’s say differently? Have you tried this deal?

  3. It was a misprint. My Kroger had a sign hanging up with the correction. I got eight boxes yesterday. You can only do one deal per transaction so I broke it up into 2 orders. I also got a catalina for $2 off 5 boxes.

  4. they didn’t double my kool-aid coupons from facebook. this was before the changes to the computer so my best guess was that it went over the price of the kool-aid…so doubling up to the price is a nice change if this was the problem with the kool-aid.

  5. Campbell0520 says:

I was purchasing 4 boxes of fiber one bars and using 4 manufacturer coupons for .40. I made sure to cancel me e coupons because I wanted to use the paper coupons so they would double. Well after scanning the 1st coupon the computer beeped on the rest and told the cashier that I had too many coupons. We checked to make sure that there were no e coupons coming off, which there were not. She said if the computer would let her do an override she could take them. Luckily it worked out but it was like I was under scruntiny. I ha to keep reminding her that I was indeed buying 4 boxes of the item.

  6. Hkitty_65 says:

Unfortunately, our Kroger would not let us use manufacturer’s coupon’s plus e coupons yesterday. They had in the past, but I guess the new update prevents it 🙁 We were buying the 3/$5 sweet rolls. Oh well. At least our store still doubles!

  7. So is your Kroger still doing ecoupons and coupons together? Is that how you got your toothbrushes for free?

  8. No, sorry for any confusion. I bought two toothbrushes. The e-coupon came off of one and the paper coupon was for the second one.
I do not think any Kroger is still combining e-coupons and paper coupons.

  9. Honeysmith says:

I don’t think this is a very good deal. The boxes were at the regular price mostly ranging from $2.99 and up. So even with the catalina and coupons they were still over my target price range.

  10. The bigger boxes of plain Cheerios ($2.99) came out to $1.11 a box after coupons and $5 card. I think that’s a good deal for a big box of healthy cereal. It’s probably not as good of a deal on some of the smaller boxes of cereal.

  11. I went to Kroger today. The cashier rang my order, then my paper coupons, then my Kroger card. My coupons did not double. I went to the customer service desk and was told that paper coupons do not double unless you scan your Kroger card first. Then if you happen to have an ecoupon for the same item, it will use that and not use the paper coupon. And you can’t double the ecoupon. UGH!
