Tell Your Time: The Plan That Has Changed My Days

A few months ago I was looking in a “planning meeting” with THE HUSBAND. We quickly looked  over our Google Calendars and ran through the week so we are on the same page. Then we started talking about what was coming up for us overall, big picture stuff.

I started to cry.

There is caring for our family of five (three of which are 5 and under), caring for our home, being an active member of our church, blogging, teaching coupon classes, planning and then starting homeschool for our two oldest this fall, exercise, quiet time  and the list went on and on.

I felt anxiety welling up. How was I going to get it all done?

I considered talking to THE HUSBAND becasue he is a planning prodigy. I didn’t becasue those conversations always end in conflict around here. (partially becasue we are so different and partially due to my pride.)

I knew I needed to make a plan I just had no idea how to do it.

A friend suggested the ebook  Tell Your Time: How To Manage Your Schedule So You Can Live Fulfilled By Amy Lynn Andrews.

I loved it.

Tell Your Time was practical. It was an easy and quick read, yet it was  insightful and reminded me of why I was doing what I am doing.  It helped me prioritize and get my schedule on paper.

It totally freed me from that feeling that while I was concentrating on one thing something else was falling through the cracks. Everything had a time and there was time for everything.

If you are struggling with managing your time and your schedule I would encourage you to read Tell Your Time.  It will help you look at your day-to-day life, help you decide what you want to do, then schedule it.

If  you do read it I am super interested to hear you thoughts.

  1. I absolutely loved this e-book. I’ve been eye balling it for a while, and I finally had a chance to take a look at it! Definitely worth anyone’s time to read. Practical and applicable! I can’t wait to implement some of her tactics. 🙂

  2. Now, if I can just find the time to read it!
