Kroger Best Deals of the Week 7/17/11

It is week two of Kroger’s Mega Event sale so several of the deals are the same. This is good if you need to stock up. I am hoping maybe my Kroger will have some Wisk this week. They were cleaned out by Sunday evening last week.

If you find any closeout deals that I don’t have listed leave a comment and share.

i got a raincheck for the wisk. i’m not even going to worry about it until the sales are over. 🙂

  2. An elderly woman in front of me at the Cedar Bluff location received a Senior Citizen discount on all of her groceries today.  I asked the cashier and he said every Wednesday seniors get 5 or 10% off their entire bill!

I can’t remember if it was 5 or 10%, but I am surprised to see seniors buying groceries any other day than Wednesdays after hearing that news!  I don’t know if this is a location-specific offer or a Kroger-wide promotion but the cashier made it sound like it is an ongoing discount every Wednesday.

  3. Rfarmer5125 says:

I think its all local Krogers and its been going on for a while just not widely advertised, as far as I know it is every Wednesday, think its 10%.

  4. Mhickam25 says:

If the Kroger stores are out of the Whisk Laundry Detergent, you can go to Walmart and tell them when you get to the register that Kroger has it on sale for $3.49 and they will price match it for you (you don’t even have to have an ad), then you can use your coupon and get the same deal. I do this often when products are scarce.
