Smithsonian Museum Day Live: Free Admission To Several Local Museums!

Smithsonian Free Museum Day

The 9th annual Smithsonian Museum Day Live is happening this Saturday, September 28th. Several area museums will be offering Free admission for two people per household. You can get free admission to select museums with a ticket that can be downloaded on the Smithsonian website.

In our area these museums are participating:

American Museum of Science and Energy (300 S. Tulane Ave in Oak Ridge) 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Crockett Tavern Museum (2002 Morningside Drive in Morristown)  11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Museum of Appalachia (2819 Andersonville Hwy in Clinton) 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

East Tennessee History Center & Museum  (601 S. Gay Street in Knoxville) 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sequoyah Birthplace Museum (576 Hwy. 360 in Vonore)  9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame  (700 Hall of Fame Drive in Knoxville)  10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Frist Center for the Visual Arts (919 Broadway Nashville, TN 37203)
