Six Flags Read to Succeed: FREE Six Flags Tickets, Last Day to Register for 2014

Read to Succeed is a program by Six Flags to encourage children in grades K through 6th to read for enjoyment. All students who complete six hours of recreational reading will earn a free ticket to Six Flags! This program is open to teachers, homeschool parents, and schools at no cost. The program registration deadline is March 3, 2014 at 5pm CST.

**I registered as a homeschool, but if your kiddos go to school it seems your school has to be registered in order to participate. Your child’s teacher also has to complete the registration and the tickets are available to be used in the summer.

It was really easy for me to register, and based on the message I received it appears easy for schools too!  I was the Read to Succeed Coordinator for our school last year. It takes 30 seconds to register a school. Any teacher registering 10 or more students gets a free adult ticket. The coordinator also gets a free adult ticket.

Here’s how to earn your free tickets:

Register at Read to Succeed.
Print out and complete the reading logs for each of your children.
Once your children have completed 6 hours of reading, log back in and enter how much they’ve read under the “Students” tab.
You won’t be required to mail in the reading logs this year. Your tickets will be mailed or emailed in the spring.

Don’t forget to checkout the long list of Free and reduced admission deals for teachers/homeschools going on in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg through March 9th!

  1. Deadline actually extended to March 10th this year 🙂
